Quinlan Care founder Robert Quinlan has been a life and health insurance agent/broker since 1986. He was a regular contributor to the Fox Boomer at Fox Business Network and to the Times Herald Record newspaper on personal finance topics. Bob has been a speaker at the New York Public Library’s Money Matters lecture series on retirement topics in 2012 and 2013. He teaches online and live insurance classes since 2008 to other insurance professionals and financial advisors across the country. He was granted the Life and Annuity Certified Professional (LACP) designation in 2021. Bob has his MBA degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council.
Bob is joined by his wife, Alice Quinlan. She provides office support and customer service. In addition, Quinlan Care has alliances with professionals in tax, trusts and estates and complex issues in life and health insurance.
Bob is a veteran. He was a US Army officer (captain/field artillery) in Korea during the Vietnam era. His mother, US Army Captain Margaret Quinlan, served as a nurse in Europe during WWII. His father was also a US Army veteran in Europe. Their oldest child, Captain Kathleen Quinlan Owings (West Point graduate) served in Iraq with a combat engineer battalion. Bob and Alice also were blessed with twins. Kevin is an automobile transmission specialist and Kristin is a registered nurse in a local hospital’s operating room.
